Hyundai Card M and X are back with BOOSTED benefits

Hyundai Card has unveiled Hyundai Card MX BOOST, new versions of Hyundai Card M and Hyundai Card X with much-boosted benefits.

Both M and X series have been representing Hyundai Card for years, offering M points (bonus rewards indigenous to Hyundai Card) and various discounts in varying degrees whenever payments are made. Hyundai Card MX BOOST comes with bigger benefits and various card plate design options.

Boosted benefits of MX BOOST include extra rewards for using online payment services and extra M points for transactions made overseas including online malls. The more customers swipe the card, the more benefits.

Hyundai Card M BOOST comes in three types according to annual fees: M BOOST, M2 BOOST and M3 BOOST. The ratio M points given to customers is proportionate to the scale of payments each month.

Payments of 500,000 won ($460) or more a month lead to M points equivalent to 0.5~3% of total and payments of 1 million won or more, 0.75~4.5%. When it comes to M3 BOOST, payments of 2 million won or more a month offer 1~6% M points.

Transactions made with online payment services such as Samsung Pay, Naver Pay and KakaoPay or at overseas stores lead to 5% M point rewards.

M points can be used like cash at over 65,000 online and offline stores affiliated with Hyundai Card including Hyundai Card M Point Mall, restaurants and stores.

Hyundai Card X BOOST comes in three types according to annual fees: X, X2, X3. Spending of 500,000 won or more a month offers 1% discount on the monthly bill, and 1 million won or more, 1.5%. When it comes to X3 BOOST, transaction of 2 million won or more leads to an extra 10,000 won cashback.

Transactions made with online payment services such as Samsung Pay, Naver Pay and KakaoPay or at overseas stores lead to 5% M point rewards.

Hyundai Card MX BOOST offers 12 different plate design options. There are three choices each for M BOOST and X BOOST and three common choices for both card types. There are three additional options for a customer wishing to have special metal plates issued at extra fees.

Hyundai Card plans to throw special promotional events for new customers of MX BOOST. Those who spend 100,000 won or more with the cards by Feb. 29 will receive the benefits of free metal card plate issuance and extra 100,000 M points (for M BOOST customers) or 100,000 won cashback (for X BOOST customers).

Annual fees for M/X BOOST, M2/X2 BOOST and M3/X3 BOOST are 30,000 won, 60,000 won and 90,000 won.
